Welcome to SouthHouse Basenjis  SouthHouse Basenjis is located in Northeastern Missouri. The name SouthHouse comes from our last name Sorhus ( Sørhus) which means South House in Norwegian. We do not have a large kennel since our dogs live in the house as members of the family. The dogs we do have are from responsible breeders where temperament and health have tremendous bearing on the breeding programs. We do occasionally have Basenji puppies available. Check out our puppies page to see our planned Basenji litter for 2007!   Horses Currently we have a Fjord mare, Quarter gelding, and pony for our son. Fish We keep and breed African Cichlids. We are now up to 5 tanks and have some gorgeous fish! We are selling our 75 gallon tank and most of our lovely MBunas from the 125 gallon. Contact me if you are interested. Bengal Cat We have a Bengal cat named Asia. She is a brown spotted girl and about 6 months old.
