I have owned and trained horses for many years
and have had a variety of breeds and temperaments. I used to raise the old line
of Morgan horses but did not really like what was happening in the show ring. My
husband and I really wanted to get into Fjord horses on a small scale for family
riding and driving. In 2008 we purchased our first Fjord mare from Green Valley
Farms. This mare is absolutely wonderful and so fun to ride. She was only
greenbroke when we got her but is so willing to learn and has a wonderful
temperament. One thing that suprised me about her is her totally butter smooth
trot - who would have thought! We hope to breed Tove this coming spring and plan
to keep the foal as another family horse. Some day we may have Fjords available
for sale, but first we need to keep enough for our own use.
Tove (GVF TASJA)

Chance (not a Fjord but an awesome horse
anyway)

This is my husbands horse. He is a really nice gelding and
will always have a home here - even if he is not a Fjord :)
Prince (miniature horse)

I had to include pictures of Prince since he is a family
horse. He is a great natured little horse.
